Amoo Venture Capital Advisory presents “Amoo Booster Series”. As part of our commitment to nurturing the tech ecosystem we have set up a monthly networking series with speakers from the industry, that are as passionate about startups as we are.

The aim is to deliver practical advice entrepreneurs can implement right away. This is done in a friendly space with the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and investors; we have created a community for like-minded people to communicate, share ideas and explore ways to support each other.

This month's event will be on “Accounting and The Basics of Financials”. Its presentation and discussion will be led by Ian Swycher, principal at Accounting Help, who are a firm of Chartered Accountants that specialise in helping IT, software, web and service businesses. Ian Swycher is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in running and developing businesses. Ian is currently involved in running a number of businesses including Accounting Help; Virtual Directors a firm of management consultants, and Anzen a private equity firm specializing in investing in early-stage technology companies.

During the last decade, Ian has been heavily involved in the web industry. He has served at C-level positions and/or advisory board seats and/or invested in more than 30 companies worldwide. Ian has been successfully involved in a number of exits, such as Euro Digital, Bingos and BrokersWeb.com. Currently, he is involved in companies such as Tradeshift.com and Everbread.com, among others.
